You wake up in the void.
Around you, streams of time flow endlessly in the darkness. You remember only one thing: you work for Wormhole Express, and they expect results.

No memory of who you are. No memory of how you got here. Just the hum of the timestream, a half-built station, and a queue of clients who want to travel into the past.

Run a Time Travel Agency

Wormhole Express is a first-person co-op survival game for up to 5 players, set in a mysterious void between timelines. Your job is simple: process clients, apply the correct amount of quantum milt, send them to their destination, and don't cause any paradoxes.

In practice, it's never that simple.

Clients arrive with requests. Some are reasonable. Some are suspicious. Some carry a risk so high that the professional (and survivable) decision is to turn them away. Every departure into the past creates a ripple. Enough ripples become anomalies. Enough anomalies become a problem you can't paperwork your way out of.

Build, Expand and Automate

Your station starts as nothing. A bare platform floating in the void, a Chronosnare in your hand, and no clear idea of what comes next. Everything you see in the finished station, you will have built yourself. Every room, every machine, every system that keeps the operation alive.

Over time, you'll expand — new wings, new machinery, new workflows that keep the agency running even when you're busy dealing with something that shouldn't exist. Craft new inventions from materials pulled out of the timestream. Automate your operations so the agency runs smoothly while you focus on the chaos. Build and customize your station the way you want it — functional, efficient, or gloriously overcomplicated.

Everything runs on energy drawn from the timestream itself. That includes your tools, your defenses, and your life support. The more you take, the more unstable things get. There is no free lunch in the void — only deferred consequences.

"All station infrastructure is the sole responsibility of the assigned operative. Wormhole Express provides one (1) Chronosnare upon deployment. Further equipment is to be sourced independently. The company accepts no liability for structural collapse, temporal feedback, or anything described in Appendix C."
— Wormhole Express Employee Handbook, Section 4 — Station Management

The Chronosnare

Your primary tool for gathering materials is the Chronosnare. This handheld device lets you tune into the resonance frequency of objects drifting through the timestream and pull them into the present.

Every object in the flow carries its own alpha value. Dial in the right frequency, aim at the stream, and extract what you need. Dial in the wrong frequency and you'll get something unexpected. Pull too much and the stream destabilizes.

Use it wisely. Or at least consistently.

Manage the Timestream — or Face What Comes

Stability is everything. Your station draws power from the timestream. Your Chronosnare pulls materials from it. Every client you send into the past creates a ripple. Every unresolved anomaly chips away at the integrity of the flow.

Let stability drop too far and the void stops being empty.

Creatures born from temporal instability emerge with a single directive: eliminate the source of disruption. That's you. Your station. Everything you've built.

Defend yourself with hand-crafted weapons, automated turrets, and traps. Fight back, repair the damage, restore stability, and figure out how to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Explore the Void

The void is not empty. Beyond your station, other timestreams drift through the darkness. Each with its own character, its own materials, its own dangers.

Build additional outposts across multiple timestreams. Construct your own vessel and travel between stations you've established. Discover what else is out there, hidden in the space between moments.

Not everything you find will make sense at first. Some of it will only make sense much later.

Remember Who You Are

Scattered across the void are fragments — broken pieces of a memory that belongs to you. Collect them. Piece them together. Start asking questions that Wormhole Express would prefer you didn't ask.

The deeper you go, the less the official story holds up. There is a truth buried somewhere in the static. About who you are, how you ended up here, and what Wormhole Express actually is.

It's worth finding. We promise.

Play Together

Wormhole Express is designed from the ground up for co-op play with up to 5 players. Divide the work, share the chaos, blame each other for the anomalies. Every role matters. From client processing to resource management to defending the station when things go wrong.

You can also play solo if you prefer to suffer alone.
